Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT)
BDR Solutions LLC is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of the electronic products used in performing Polaris task orders and in modernizing government systems for health, social services, and disaster relief. Where an applicable EPEAT registry exists, BDR Solutions LLC will offer and use IT products that are registered at least at the EPEAT Bronze level for all products and equipment furnished under the Polaris Master Contract, including electronic hardware procured as ancillary equipment in support of task orders. When EPEAT‑registered products are not available for a specific requirement, functionally equivalent products with comparable energy efficiency and environmental performance will be selected whenever practicable.
Sustainable Practices and Impact Statement
BDR Solutions LLC integrates sustainable management practices into the delivery of IT services and digital health solutions for federal agencies, aligning with government sustainability objectives and responsible acquisition of information technology. In support of Polaris task orders, BDR Solutions LLC prioritizes energy‑efficient, low‑impact products (including EPEAT‑registered electronics) and implements measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with our IT operations and supply chain.
Our sustainable practices include:
Selecting ENERGY STAR and EPEAT‑registered IT equipment whenever available and technically practicable to reduce energy consumption and lifecycle environmental impacts.
Leveraging cloud services, infrastructure optimization, and power‑management features to decrease on‑premises energy use and associated emissions in data centers and end‑user environments that support our federal health and mission‑critical systems.
Promoting responsible end‑of‑life management for electronics through reuse, certified recycling vendors, and secure disposition processes that protect sensitive government information while supporting material recovery and waste reduction.
Seeking continuous improvement in sustainability performance by monitoring relevant metrics (such as equipment energy use and waste diversion where available) and incorporating environmental considerations into acquisition and technical solution design.
